See the most beautiful and majestic waterfalls and mountain views in Northwestern North Carolina!! The stops on this tour are all free or have a minimal parking fee. All tour locations are north of Interstate 40 and the Asheville area. (For SW NC waterfalls, see our tour called Amazing Waterfalls of Southwestern North Carolina.) This tour will take about three days to complete. Take your time and enjoy some of the most incredible views and beautiful drives in the Appalachians. We suggest you save the brewery stops for the end of a day after enjoying the waterfalls, hikes, and views. If you don’t drink, skip the breweries and enjoy the gorgeous scenery!!! Note that some of the stops on this tour are closed for winter months, or many not be accessible during winter ice and snow events.
