A short, mostly quiet family ride on quiet streets around East Chop, with no bike paths, but with beautiful views of Nantucket Sound, and Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs harbors, and through the beautiful and historic East Chop neighborhood. A portion of the route is on very firmly packed dirt roads, so it may be preferable to walk your bike for some sections – but it is certainly ridable, if you like. If you want a ride on less busy streets, park on East Chop Dr, near the harbor and Our Market. Otherwise, start at the OB Ferry terminal.
